A well-established, multidisciplinary construction consultancy is seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations Coordinator to support a busy Building Surveying team.
This is a key operational role within the business, acting as the central point of coordination for a team of surveyors. You’ll ensure diaries, appointments, documentation and client communications are managed efficiently and professionally.
This is not a passive administrative position. The successful candidate will enjoy taking ownership, solving problems, keeping people organised and helping the team operate at its best.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing surveyor diaries, appointments and day-to-day scheduling
- Coordinating resident, client and contractor access arrangements
- Liaising professionally with clients, managing agents, consultants and contractors
- Preparing report templates, documents and professional correspondence
- Maintaining internal trackers, job records and workflow systems
- Monitoring deadlines and proactively chasing outstanding actions
- Assisting with fee proposals and invoicing administration
- Providing general operational and administrative support
- Identifying opportunities to improve internal systems, processes and team efficiency
About You:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident dealing with clients and external stakeholders
- Able to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently and using initiative
- Strong IT skills, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
- Calm under pressure and solutions-focused
- Experience within property, construction, surveying, housing or professional services is highly advantageous
