How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This is a key leadership position within a high-performing Procurement function that is actively transforming, building stronger category capability, enhancing commercial impact, and embedding a more strategic, data-led approach to value creation.

    • Develop and execute category strategies aligned to business and transformation priorities
    • Lead complex sourcing, negotiations, and contract execution

    Stakeholder & Market Leadership

    • Act as Procurement lead for the UK & Ireland market
    • Partner with senior stakeholders and embed Procurement into strategic decision-making
    • Balance global standards with local market requirements

    Team Leadership

    • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing matrix structure team of 6
    • Build capability, accountability, and a strong performance culture in a complex environment
    • Remain closely involved in delivery alongside the team

    Risk & Governance

    • Ensure effective risk management and business continuity planning
    • Maintain compliance across procurement policies, controls, and P2P processes

    Performance & Transformation

    • Deliver savings, productivity, and value aligned to transformation goals
    • Drive adoption of procurement tools and systems
    • Lead tail-spend optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives

    Essential Skills:

    • Proven leadership experience in indirect procurement across IT and wider indirect categories (HR, Professional Services, Marketing, Travel, Utilities)
    • Strong IT procurement category experience is essential
    • A hands-on leader with both strategic capability and strong delivery ownership
    • Experience operating in complex, matrixed organisations
    • Proven track record of working in or leading procurement transformation environments
    • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior level
    • Commercially astute with strong analytical capability
    • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and driving clarity across complexity
    • Demonstrated ability to build and develop high-performing teams

This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role within a progressive multinational organisation where Procurement is undergoing a significant transformation and is positioned as a core driver of business value.

You will join a high-performing and evolving procurement team, with strong leadership backing and a clear mandate to elevate capability, strengthen category performance, and deliver measurable commercial impact.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, directly lead critical sourcing activity, and play a central role in shaping the future of Procurement across the UK & Ireland.
