How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Early Years Teaching Assistant/ Early Years Practitioner– Starting at £26,657 + Bonus & Benefits– London, W12


    The Role

    Do you have experience of working with children? Are you looking to earn while you learn in a fun and rewarding career that shapes the lives of young children? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.


    As an Early Years Teaching Assistant / Early Years Practitioner, you will work closely with an Early Years Teacher and another Teaching Assistant to provide high-quality care and education for a small group of two- to four-year-olds. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You will help create a safe, calm and engaging environment where children feel confident, curious and supported.


    You will also have the opportunity to gain recognised early years qualifications while working, making this an ideal role if you want to grow your career in education.

    Contract: Full time

    Salary: Starting above London Living Wage, plus a generous bonus structure

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support children’s personal, social and emotional development.
    • Help maintain a positive, predictable and safe learning environment.
    • Assist with observations and assessments in line with the EYFS.
    • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and statutory guidance at all times.
    • Work closely with colleagues on planning, learning activities and routines.
    • Communicate clearly and sensitively with parents and carers.
    • Support children with transitions and any additional needs.

    The Person

    We are looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant / Early Years Practitioner who:


    • Has experience working with children under five.
    • Holds GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade 4/C or above.
    • Understands the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
    • Communicates clearly with children, parents and colleagues.
    • Works well as part of a team and remains calm under pressure.
    • Takes pride in high standards and attention to detail.
