Role Overview
Our client is expanding its logistics and supply chain footprint across Europe at a rapid pace. We are seeking a Legal Counsel based in the UK to support the supply chain business. This is a growth-driven role, focusing heavily on the procurement side of the business and covering multiple countries across the EU.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of procurement and supply chain agreements across the EU.
- Compliance: Ensure all business activities meet regional legal standards and internal company policies.
- Cross-Border Support: Act as a legal point of contact for supply chain matters covering various European jurisdictions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with the operations team at warehouse hubs to ensure legal processes align with logistical requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: 3–5 years of legal experience, ideally gained within a law firm or a corporate environment of a similar scale.
- Education: A legal education background from any country within Europe.
- Languages: Fluency in English is required. A preference will be given to candidates who speak Mandarin/Chinese or another European language.
- Expertise: Solid understanding of procurement law, contracts, and compliance.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel to UK warehouse sites as part of a remote-working setup.
