How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Learning & Development (L&D) Lead to join our growing professional services firm in Belfast. This is a pivotal role responsible for shaping and delivering high-quality learning experiences that support the development of our people across all levels — from early careers through to senior leadership.

    You will play a key role in designing, tailoring, and facilitating impactful learning programmes that meet the diverse needs of our teams across different sectors and career stages.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, and deliver engaging learning programmes aligned to business needs
    • Tailor content to suit a wide range of audiences, functions, and levels of seniority
    • Facilitate interactive workshops and training sessions, both in-person and virtually
    • Continuously evaluate and enhance programmes based on participant feedback and measurable outcomes
    • Review and update learning materials to ensure relevance, quality, and alignment with best practice
    • Stay informed of emerging trends, tools, and methodologies in learning and development
    • Support the integration of psychometric tools into development programmes where appropriate
    • Partner with key stakeholders to identify capability gaps and implement effective learning solutions

    About You

    • Proven experience delivering end-to-end learning solutions — from design through to facilitation
    • Demonstrated ability to deliver workshops confidently at all levels, including senior leadership
    • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences in both virtual and face-to-face environments
    • Experience tailoring learning content for different sectors and business functions
    • Familiarity with psychometric tools and their application in professional development
    • A proactive approach to improving learning outcomes through feedback and innovation
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

    Qualifications & Experience

    • CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above preferred)
    • Relevant experience within a professional services environment is advantageous
