How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We are partnering with a US firm in London who are looking for a Commercial Litigation Associate to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented solicitor to join an internationally recognised litigation team with a strong reputation in the market.


    They are seeking a professional with 3–5 years' PQE at a comparable law firm who is looking to take the next step in their career.


    Typical duties for the role will include:

    • Manage client and matter files, ensuring full compliance with firm policies and legal standards.
    • Provide expert legal advice, including drafting complex legal documents and supporting applications and hearings.
    • Collaborate with senior lawyers, colleagues, and clients on complex disputes across all stages of litigation, including pre-action work, disclosure, and trial preparation.
    • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients and internal teams.


    The successful candidate will have:

    • Qualified Solicitor of England and Wales with 3–5 years’ PQE
    • A strong understanding of litigation processes, with the ability to assist on complex matters across courts, tribunals, and arbitrations
    • Experience in contentious tax matters and disputes involving copyright, data protection, defamation, privacy and breach of confidence
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for providing clear advice and building strong client rapport
    • A proactive and detail-oriented approach, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development
    • A collaborative mindset and a strong commitment to teamwork
