Are you a confident and resilient Behaviour Mentor looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people?
A supportive specialist school in Earley is looking for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join their team as soon as possible. This is a rewarding opportunity for a Behaviour Mentor to work with students who may display challenging behaviour and require additional emotional and behavioural support.
In this role, the Behaviour Mentor will work closely with pupils both inside and outside the classroom, helping them manage behaviour, build confidence, and engage positively with their education. The Behaviour Mentor will be instrumental in creating a safe and structured environment where students can thrive.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:
* Support students with behavioural and emotional needs
* Build strong, consistent relationships with pupils
* Implement behaviour management strategies
* Provide 1:1 and small group support
* Collaborate with teaching staff and SEN professionals
This role is ideal for individuals with experience in youth work, coaching, or mentoring, or for those aspiring to work in education, social care, or mental health. The school provides ongoing support and development opportunities for every Behaviour Mentor.
