How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Senior Associate – Non-Contentious Construction (5+ PQE) | Top Tier Legal 500 Firm


    A top-tier Legal 500 firm is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Associate (5+ PQE) to join its market-leading non-contentious construction team.


    This is a standout opportunity to work on complex, high-value development and infrastructure projects, advising a prestigious client base that includes leading developers, funders, contractors, and public sector bodies. The team is widely recognised for delivering strategic, commercially focused advice on some of the UK’s most significant projects.


    The Role:

    • Advising on all aspects of non-contentious construction work, including drafting and negotiating building contracts, professional appointments, and ancillary documentation
    • Acting on major UK and international development and infrastructure projects
    • Working closely with real estate, finance, and projects teams on cross-disciplinary matters
    • Taking a lead role on transactions and mentoring junior lawyers
    • Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives


    About You:

    • 5+ years’ PQE with strong non-contentious construction experience gained at a leading firm
    • Extensive experience drafting and negotiating standard form contracts (e.g. JCT, NEC)
    • Proven ability to manage matters and supervise junior team members
    • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
