How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Located in Enfield, North London, Grange Park Preparatory School and Nursery is a co‑educational independent school for children aged 3–11. We provide a broad and balanced education in a nurturing environment, offering small class sizes, committed teachers, and a strong family ethos.

Our pupils are encouraged to excel academically, behave exceptionally well, and develop a genuine love of learning. We pride ourselves on preparing children thoroughly for the next stage of their education at 11+.

We are looking for a passionate and reflective teacher who can inspire pupils in Year 4 and deliver consistently high‑quality teaching and learning. • Experience in developing teaching materials, assessment strategies, and pastoral support
    • A willingness to contribute fully to the wider life of the school
    • Confidence and enthusiasm to lead either Humanities or Science across the school

We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and those early in their career. We are happy to consider candidates with experience in either the independent or state sector.
