How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Title: Property Legal Counsel (1-4 PQE)

    Salary: Up to £85k

    Location: Hybrid: 3 days per week in London office

    Fantastic new opportunity for a Commercial Property Solicitor 1-4 PQE to join a specialist in-house Legal team in the Energy sector. Our client plays an integral role in infrastructure development in the UK, working closely with landowners, network operators and retailers.


    Role:


    This is an exciting role offering quality training and experience as part of a small in-house legal team. Working closely with an experienced Head of Legal and supported by a Paralegal, you’ll provide expert Legal advice to an experienced team of developers and property specialists. Prior commercial property legal experience and experience in the energy, EV or utilities sector is highly desirable.


    You’ll be joining a well established but relatively small business, so you’ll gain unrivalled exposure to legal work and its application commercially, as well as being able to learn from non legal colleagues who are experts in the sector.


    Examples of the type of work will include:


    • Managing legal process from heads of terms through to exchange and completion
    • Preparing and assisting with drafting Agreements for Lease and Leases
    • Carrying out title due diligence, including drafting Reports on Title and resolving title issues
    • Working closely with distribution network operators to complete land rights for site electricity connections
    • Supporting on large portfolio deals with a variety of well-known landlords including property investors and pension trusts.
    • Land Registry applications and administration

    For Property Solicitors with an interest in the Renewable Energy sector, this role provides both an opportunity to progress in the sector, but also benefit from unrivalled support and mentoring from an experienced team
