A global insurance business is seeking an experienced Claims Operations leader to join on a fixed term basis, providing senior-level cover within its claims function.
Working closely with executive leadership, you will play a key role in maintaining operational oversight, strengthening supplier partnerships, and helping to modernise the claims function through technology and process improvement.
Key areas of focus:
- Leading operational oversight of the claims function, ensuring consistent and efficient service delivery across all areas.
- Acting as a senior point of contact across internal governance forums, contributing to decision-making and programme direction.
- Helping shape and embed a more technology-enabled claims environment, including the use of automation and advanced digital tools.
- Managing relationships with external service providers and offshore/shared service teams to ensure quality, performance, and alignment with expectations.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve overall effectiveness.
- Collaborating with senior stakeholders across underwriting, operations, and technology to deliver shared objectives.
- Providing leadership, direction, and support to the existing operations team.
