LAW Absolute is working with a leading FMCG organisation to recruit an experienced Employment Lawyer for a permanent, fully remote role. This is a great opportunity to join a fast‑paced, commercial business with an international footprint across EMEA.
The Role
You’ll act as a trusted advisor to the business, providing pragmatic employment law support across multiple jurisdictions. Working closely with HR and senior stakeholders, you’ll support day‑to‑day employee relations matters as well as strategic projects in a dynamic, high‑growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing employment law advice across the EMEA region (essential), including the UK and EU
- Supporting on employee relations issues, restructures, disciplinary and grievance matters
- Advising on employment contracts and policies
- Supporting M&A activity, TUPE transfers, and workforce change programmes
- Managing external counsel across jurisdictions as required
- Partnering with HR and business leaders to deliver commercially focused legal solutions
About You
- Qualified lawyer (UK or equivalent) with strong employment law expertise
- Demonstrable EMEA / international employment law experience
- Experience working in‑house, ideally within FMCG, consumer, retail, or fast‑moving sectors
- Commercial, pragmatic approach with the ability to operate remotely and independently
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
