How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The Role


    As a Human Resource Business Partner, you will be partnering with business leaders and managers to deliver a proactive, commercial HR service aligned to business objectives and provide confident, pragmatic advice across the full employee lifecycle, including performance, absence, conduct, grievance and capability.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and/or support employee relations cases end-to-end, ensuring fair, consistent and legally compliant outcomes.
    • Coach and upskill managers to build confidence and capability in people management and decision-making.
    • Support organisational change activities (e.g., restructures, consultation, TUPE where applicable), providing guidance and coordinating people impacts.
    • Work closely with stakeholders across the business and HR (recruitment, payroll, L&D and reward) to deliver a joined-up people plan.
    • Support talent and succession planning, development planning and engagement activity to improve retention and performance.
    • Analyse and present people data (e.g., absence, turnover, ER themes) to support decision-making and identify improvement opportunities.
    • Ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures and employment legislation; identify and recommend policy/process improvements.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and case notes, handling sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
    • Undertake additional project work as required to support the wider People agenda.


    Your Profile:

    Essential skills/knowledge/experience:


    • Demonstrable HR generalist/HRBP experience, including advising managers across a broad range of people matters.
    • Professional Human Resource experience, ideally within a contact centre environment (desirable); confident working in a fast-paced, demanding setting supporting c.200+ employees in a standalone role, using strong initiative.
    • CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above) or actively working towards a CIPD qualification.
    • Strong working knowledge of UK employment legislation and best practice, with confidence managing employee relations cases.
    • Confident working with multiple stakeholders at varying levels, with the ability to influence, challenge constructively and build credibility.
    • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.
    • Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), with confidence producing reports and tracking actions.
    • High levels of integrity, discretion and professionalism; able to handle sensitive information appropriately.
