How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Title: HR Administrator

    Location: City of London

    Role: 6-month FTC (potential extensions)

    Working Arrangement: Hybrid Working (3 days in office)

    Salary: up to £35,000 per annum


    The firm

    Our client is a global law firm is recognised for delivering full‑service legal advice across corporate, litigation, regulatory, labour and employment, finance, intellectual property, and industry‑focused practices including energy, technology, life sciences, and financial services. With a broad international footprint across North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, it advises clients ranging from multinational corporations to emerging businesses on complex, cross‑border, and highly regulated matters.


    The role

    In your new role as a HR Administrator, you will be working in a team of 4 providing effective HR support to the firm. This is initially a 6-month FTC, for the right person this could be extended or go permanent. Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes.
    • Preparing offer letter, employment contracts and drafting documents
    • Supporting on interview scheduling and booking meeting rooms.
    • Supporting a HRIS migration project.
    • Managing email correspondence from HR inbox.


    What do you need?

    In order to be successful in this role you will need:

    • Previous administrative experience with a keen interest in HR.
    • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • IT Proficiency.
