How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an established Commercial Litigation Partner to join the London office of a fast-growing Top 100 UK law firm.


    This is a strategic hire as the firm continues to invest in and expand its London disputes offering, building a high-quality, full-service commercial litigation practice capable of competing with leading City and national firms.


    The Opportunity


    You will play a central role in shaping and growing the Commercial Litigation practice in London, working alongside an ambitious and well-regarded leadership team.


    The role offers the platform, infrastructure, and internal support to further develop your practice, with flexibility around entry level (salaried or equity) depending on experience and following.


    Key Responsibilities


    Lead on a broad range of complex commercial litigation matters, including:

    • Shareholder and partnership disputes
    • Financial services litigation
    • Fraud and asset recovery
    • High-value contractual and cross-border disputes


    • Act as a trusted advisor on strategically significant and high-value cases
    • Develop and grow your client base, leveraging the firm’s existing relationships
    • Build strong referral networks internally and externally
    • Contribute to and execute a clear business development strategy
    • Collaborate with other practice areas to drive cross-selling opportunities
    • Lead, mentor, and develop junior lawyers within the team
    • Contribute to the overall growth strategy of the London office


    Candidate Profile


    • Established Commercial Litigation Partner or aspiring Partner with a strong track record
    • Demonstrable experience handling complex, high-value disputes
    • Strong client following and/or a credible business plan
    • Proven ability to generate work and convert business development activity
    • Commercially astute with strong leadership and client management skills
    • Experience gained within a recognised City, national, or leading regional firm
    • Collaborative mindset aligned with a modern, growth-focused firm
