How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    M365 Information Governance Specialist

    Remote (with occasional travel to London)

    £675/day Umbrella (Inside IR35)

    12-Month Contract

    The Opportunity

    We’re supporting a key public sector programme and are looking for an experienced M365 Information Governance Specialist to help shape how information is managed across a large organisation.

    This role will focus on improving information governance, compliance, and records management within the Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring information is handled securely and in line with policy and legislative requirements.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    You’ll act as a subject matter expert for information governance within M365, helping design and implement practical, effective solutions.

    Key responsibilities include:

    * Designing and implementing information lifecycle models (retention & labelling strategies)

    * Applying records management principles (ISO 15489) within M365

    * Translating governance policies into practical solutions across SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive

    * Supporting delivery from discovery through to implementation and assurance

    * Identifying and managing information risks and complex scenarios

    * Driving user adoption and behavioural change through training and engagement

    * Contributing to policies, standards, and guidance

    What We’re Looking For

    * Strong background in information & records management

    * Experience applying information governance within Microsoft 365

    * Proven experience designing retention and labelling strategies

    * Public sector experience, particularly within records management

    * Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

    Important: This role is not heavily technical — we’re looking for candidates who can apply governance and policy in a practical, user-focused way.

    Location

    * Primarily remote

    * Must be able to travel to a London office as required
