How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Administrative Assistant
    Location: Exeter (EX2)
    Salary: Up to £30,000+ (depending on experience) + Private Medical Insurance and Company pension scheme
    Hours - Full-time / In office

    The Practice provide financial advice to their clients on a wide range of products including Pensions, Investments, Tax Planning and Protection.

    The Role: Administrative Assistant
    *
    * You will deal with a wide variety of administrative tasks supporting your colleagues and clients of the Practice
    * You will manage and collate key data for reports and portfolio reviews
    * Dealing with enquiries and correspondence from clients and providers
    * Managing the database of clients and diary management for the Partner and Advisors
    * You will be processing new business and liaising with SJP admin teams
    * Training will be given if required, and there is scope within this role to progress and develop your knowledge within this exciting and fast paced environment.
    The Person: Administrative Assistant
    To be considered for this role you will need:
    * Previous experience within an IFA or financial services administration role
    * Knowledge of pensions, investments, and protection products is desirable
    * Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
    * High level of IT proficiency and the ability to learn new systems quickly
    * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
