This role will be a blend of design work using Solidworks and being a product expert for customers and colleagues. The role will be varied and will give you the opportunity to be part of the full engineering process.

My client is offering a salary of £28,000 - £35,000 along with an excellent benefits package.
Responsibilities of the Applications Engineer
* Design and product manufacturing drawings for special components using Solidworks
* Specify, quote and project manage company products
* Provide technical support with applications and product specifications for both customer and colleagues
* Make site visits to measure and assess projects
* Product quotations using SAP
* Pricing up and preparing quotations for the customer
* Making technical selections based on what is best for the customer requirement
Experience required of the Applications Engineer
* HNC or degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
* Comfortable speaking and dealing with customers as well as being personable.
* Solidworks experience.
