How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Title: Part 2 Architectural Assistant
    Location: London
    Type: Full-time, Permanent
    Salary: £25k to £30k
    Hybrid working policy, 2 days WFH

    Role Overview:
    We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects while developing your skills in a supportive and fast-paced studio. Open to Part 1 Architectural Assistants.

    Key Responsibilities:
    * Collaborate with the team across all project stages, from concept design to delivery
    * Assist in the development of design concepts, technical drawings, and presentation materials
    * Contribute to planning applications and building regulations documentation
    * Support senior architects with technical detailing with AutoCAD and design development
    * Participate in client and project team meetings
    * Contribute to the creative design process and provide fresh ideas

    About You:
    * RIBA Part 2 and Part 1 qualification from a UK-based university
    * Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and InDesign
    * Experience with UK-based projects, including an understanding of planning processes and building regulations
    * Strong design presentation and technical detailing skills
    * Effective communicator with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
    * Enthusiastic, proactive and ambitious with a keen interest in high-quality architecture
