How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Bakery 41 is our newest bakery in Wakefield and will become our 13th site, helping strengthen our UK‑wide bakery network. Located just ten miles from Tuscany Park and right by the M62 / M1 junction, it gives us added capacity and flexibility to support customers and consumers every day. At around 190,000 sq ft - similar in size to Tuscany Park - Bakery 41 gives us the space we need today, and the headroom to keep moving forward tomorrow.

    Key Accountabilities and Measures
    In collaboration with the operational management teams, HR and Learning Delivery Specialists, identifies compliance and technical training needs and develops plans to address needs ensuring they are aligned to the Manufacturing plan.
    Delivers on the job and group learning solutions (either face to face or virtually) across a range of technical, Compliance & SOP Training for all Manufacturing roles.
    Manages and implements the annual manufacturing training plan, utilising Learning Hub to ensure that processes are managed, and accurate training records are maintained. Uses data and reports to monitor performance and engages Cell Leads & Co-ordinators to identify actions to address gaps.
    Ensures all new starters induction training and safety training is delivered and validated through relevant competency checks.
    Provides support and training records to enable relevant site audits e.g. BRC, FSQMS, Manufacturing Excellence.
    Contributes to the evaluation the impact of appropriate Manufacturing learning interventions across levels 1 & 2 of the Kirkpatrick model to ensure learning outcomes are achieved. 
    Coaches and develops the capability of all Train the  trainers in Manufacturing to ensure high standards and consistency of delivery are met.
    Contributes to the development of junior operational talent, including next generation talent (apprentices) by coaching & mentoring. Essential Ingredients
    Experience of delivering & evaluate training, ideally in an FMCG organisation
    Demonstrates a passion for learning, seeking opportunities to learn, improve and innovate
    Experience of delivering 1:1, Group, face to face learning or virtual interventions and ability to engage different learner styles
    Ability to use coaching and mentoring approaches in learning
    Ability to influence stakeholders with confidence to promote the value of a learning culture
    Credible and impactful communicator both in written and oral presentations
    Good knowledge of the learning cycle and experience in its implementation
    Excellent understanding of accelerated learning techniques and adult learning theories and confident in using this to design and deliver engaging development solutions
    Excellent planning, organisational skills
