Key responsibilities:
* Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
* Plan and manage up to 5 deliveries daily across Oxford, London, and other UK locations
* Conduct routine vehicle safety checks before and after journeys to ensure roadworthiness
* Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate clearly with dispatch and customers
* Provide outstanding customer service by being punctual, polite, and professional at all times
* Comply with all health and safety regulations, including secure loading and unloading of goods
* Participate in and pass a driving assessment as part of the recruitment process
What we’re looking for:
* Minimum of 1 year’s proven experience as an HGV Class 1 driver
* Valid UK HGV Class 1 licence with a clean driving record
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow delivery schedules precisely
* Excellent customer service skills and a positive, professional attitude
* Willingness to commit to long-term work and flexible working hours
* Ability to pass a driving assessment and any other relevant checks
