How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Our client is a leading contractor with a reputation for delivering high-quality fit-out and refurbishment projects across the commercial, retail, hospitality, and healthcare sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced and driven Site Manager to lead and manage fit-out projects from inception to completion.

    Role Overview:

    As a Site Manager specialising in fit-out, the successful candidate will be responsible for the on-site coordination, supervision, and delivery of interior fit-out projects to the highest standards. They will work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Oversee day-to-day operations on site, managing labour, subcontractors, and suppliers.

    * This role will involve working away.

    * Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health & safety regulations and company policies.

    * Coordinate project delivery to achieve scheduled milestones and completion dates.

    * Maintain a clean, safe, and organised site at all times.

    * Carry out site inductions, tool-box talks, and ensure full compliance with RAMS.

    * Monitor and report on site progress to senior management.

    * Liaise with clients, designers, and consultants as required.

    * Ensure quality control procedures are adhered to and completed works are snag-free.

    * Manage materials, deliveries, and ensure effective use of resources.

    * Identify and resolve site issues and conflicts swiftly and effectively
