We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong hands-on mechanical skills who enjoys working from drawings and contributing to high-quality engineering work.
Key Responsibilities
* Assemble and fit mechanical components using a range of hand tools
* Interpret and work accurately from mechanical drawings and specifications
* Carry out testing and inspection of parts to ensure quality and performance standards are met
* Identify and report any faults, deviations, or improvement opportunities
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience using hand tools in a mechanical or engineering environment
* Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
* Experience in testing mechanical parts or assemblies
* Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
