About the Role:
We are working with a specialist SEND provision supporting a small cohort of pupils with complex communication needs. This setting operates within a structured, low-arousal environment designed to support pupils with:
Autism (ASD)
Speech & Language needs
Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
Emotional regulation and anxiety
This is not a typical classroom setting — the focus is on individual development, communication, and consistency.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience supporting children with ASD and/or speech & language needs
A calm, patient and nurturing approach
Ability to work within structured routines
Strong communication skills and emotional awareness
Background in SEND, care, or support work (desirable)
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis
Assisting with communication-based learning activities
Encouraging emotional regulation and engagement
Working closely with teaching staff and SEND specialists
-Competitive rates of pay from between £90- £110 per day (AWR Compliant)
-On the job training provided by the school
