How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Are you looking to gain further administrative career experience in a fast paced health care setting?

    We are looking to recruit a part time Team Administrator, on a fixed term basis for a year to provide a highly valued service to the clinical team in South Oxfordshire Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).

    This is a varied and fast paced opportunity, and you will play a vital role within the team, being first point of contact for our patients. You will also work closely with our Team to provide administrative help for the clinicians. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to further their career in health care and develop their admin skills further.

    We are a team who support Children and Young People & their families with moderate to severe mental health presentations. We are a multi-disciplinary team who rely upon robust administrative support to run a safe and caring service to the families of Oxfordshire.

    We are looking for someone who has excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, along with effective IT skills, a good standard of administrative skills and ability to manage competing priorities within a busy team setting.

    Main administrator duties:

    * Managing an admin inbox, including formatting letters, helping clinicians with administrative tasks etc

    * Managing consultant diary's, as well as helping with administrative tasks for them and managing a spreadsheet

    * Referrals management, including use of spreadsheets

    * Answering telephone and responding to emails from parents/carers and professionals from external inbox

    * Helping with up keep of the building such as IT equipment, reporting of jobs, stationary etc

    Essential criteria

    * Higher Education qualification (i.e. A-Level/NVQ 3 standard) or extensive equivalent/previous experience in an Administration role

    * GCSE English and Maths

    * Good all-round IT knowledge

    * Relevant experience of working in an fast paced office environment as an administrator

    * Able to manage own workload

    * Able to work independently and with limited supervision

    * Able to work effectively under pressure/cope with distractions

    * Proficient with MS-Office, in particular Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams

    * Ability to deal with the public in a polite and professional manner

    * Able to communicate with staff at all levels of the Trust and outside agencies in a confident and effective manner

    * Team player with ability to plan and organise work within the admin team to meet particular service needs

    Desirable criteria

    * Understanding of Data Protection Act

    * Relevant experience of working in a supervisory role.

    * Data analysis and interpretation skills
