How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Service Manager

    The Role

    We are seeking an experienced Service Manager or a Senior Engineer looking to move on thier career to the next step, the role will be to oversee and control the daily delivery of service operations, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

    You will play a key role in coordinating planned maintenance and reactive works, supporting engineers, and acting as the central link between clients, engineers, and internal teams.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Organising and coordinating PPM schedules and reactive service requests

    * Site Visits to quote on jobs

    * Managing field engineers, subcontractors, and third‑party suppliers

    * Tracking workloads and job progress through service management software (e.g. Simpro or similar)

    * Producing RAMS and ensuring all works meet health & safety requirements

    * Serving as the primary contact for customers, contracts, and stakeholders

    * Participating in contract review meetings and preparing KPI performance reports

    * Reviewing service reports and resolving any compliance or quality issues

    * Preparing and issuing quotations for remedial and additional works

    * Assisting with invoicing, tracking service revenue, and supporting forecasts

    * Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date records across internal systems

    About You

    You will be an organised, motivated professional with a structured approach to service coordination and a strong focus on customer delivery.

    The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate:

    * Previous experience in a Service Manager or Senior Alarm Engineer

    * Background within the fire and security sector

    * Proven experience managing service or PPM contracts

    * Working knowledge of service management systems such as Simpro

    * Excellent attention to detail with the ability to juggle competing priorities
