A creative and forward-thinking secondary SEN provision in Hammersmith is seeking a Creative Arts Teaching Assistant to bring energy, expression, and imagination into the classroom.
This role is ideal for someone with a background in music, drama, or visual arts who wants to use creativity as a tool to engage learners with additional needs. Many pupils respond best through practical, sensory and performance-based activities-so your input will be central to their progress and confidence.
Your role will include:
Supporting delivery of creative arts-based learning sessions
Encouraging student participation in music, drama, and art activities
Working 1:1 and in small groups to build confidence and communication
Helping adapt creative projects to suit a range of learning needs
Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation through structured creativity
