The Role and Responsibilities
As an Asphalt Surfacing Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day site activities and ensuring smooth delivery of surfacing operations.
You will be doing:
·Supervising and leading asphalt surfacing teams on-site
·Planning and coordinating daily work schedules, plant, and materials
·Ensuring all works meet industry standards and project specifications
·Monitoring and enforcing health, safety, and environmental compliance at all times
·Liaising with project managers, clients, and subcontractors
·Conducting site inspections and resolving operational issues promptly
·Maintaining high standards of quality control and productivity
Must Have Skills and Experience
To succeed as an Asphalt Surfacing Supervisor, you will bring:
·Proven experience within asphalt surfacing or road construction environments
·Strong leadership and team management capabilities
·Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices
·Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
·Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
·Relevant certifications such as CSCS and SSSTS/SMSTS (preferred)
