We are looking for a Senior Leasehold Advisor to deliver comprehensive Homeowner management services to customers, strictly adhering to Delta’s policies and procedures while ensuring optimal performance and exemplary customer service standards. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of Leasehold Advisors and an Administrator to facilitate efficient and effective Leasehold Management.
What you'll be doing
* Leadership and Team Management: Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to your team to ensure effectiveness and high performance. Address any issues within the Leasehold Team.
* Performance Monitoring: Set objectives, monitor performance, and conduct regular reviews to ensure improvement and target achievement.
* Section 20 Process: Oversee the Section 20 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 (amended by section 151 of the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002)., ensuring the correct process is followed for customer consultation on works or services, within agreed timescales.
* Customer Enquiries - Deal with any customer requests for specialist leasehold management tasks including assignment of lease, remortgage enquiries, applications for enfranchisement, lease extensions or variations in line with procedures including providing accurate and timely information to third parties (solicitors and external management companies) when required, e.g. when a customer is selling their property.
* Collaboration: Work with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to leasehold management and customer support.
What we are looking for
* A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
* Relevant housing experience, including experience of leasehold services
* Experience of the leasehold consultation process
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Implementing new approaches to the provision of service.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to use your initiative and take a flexible approach in managing conflicting priorities under pressure.
Please note the office expectancy of this role is as follows: This role will require you to be in the office full time for a period of training before moving to hybrid working which will then be a minimum of 2 days a week in the office.
