We have an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to join a busy and supportive Corporate team based in Leicester. This role would suit someone with a genuine interest in corporate law who is looking to develop their skills within a collaborative legal environment. Please note- you must have experience in Corporate Law to be eligible for this position.
The Role
You will provide key support to fee earners across a broad range of corporate matters, assisting with both legal and administrative tasks. Responsibilities will include:
Drafting legal documents and client correspondence under supervision
Preparing and completing standard legal forms with minimal supervision
Undertaking legal research to support fee earners
Preparing document bundles as required
Assisting with the management of client files, including file opening, closing, and archiving
Drafting client care documentation and terms of business
Liaising with clients via telephone and email
Supporting the coordination of events such as seminars
Taking messages relating to initial enquiries and directing them appropriately
Attending client meetings and taking notes where required
Assisting with transaction processes, including managing electronic signing procedures (e.g. DocuSign)
Providing general administrative support to the team as needed
About You
The ideal candidate will:
Have strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office
Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Demonstrate strong time management and the ability to prioritise workloads
Be a proactive and reliable team player
Show motivation and a commitment to learning and development
Have a clear interest in corporate law
Previous paralegal experience is advantageous but not essential
