How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Head of Marketing role within a B2B food manufacturer. Highly commercial, strategic position aligned to sales and Food Service customers.

We are working with a well‑established, multi‑site food manufacturing business supplying B2B Food Service customers in the UK and internationally.

This is a senior, strategic marketing role with clear commercial accountability, focused on supporting sales performance, growth and long‑term market positioning rather than creative execution.

You will take ownership of the marketing strategy and function, working closely with senior leadership and commercial teams to ensure marketing activity is aligned to business priorities and delivers measurable impact.

This role will suit someone who enjoys setting direction, building structure and using marketing as a commercial lever within a complex B2B environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Own and lead the overall marketing strategy in line with growth objectives

    * Collaborate closely with the Commercial and Sales teams to ensure marketing delivers measurable impact

    * Build, lead and develop a high‑performing marketing team and agency partners

    * Align marketing activity closely with sales and Food Service customer priorities

    * Oversee commercial marketing and sales support materials for UK and international markets

    * Own performance measurement, insight and ROI reporting

    About You

We are interested in speaking with people who:

    * Demonstrate senior marketing leadership experience within B2B food manufacturing, with a strong understanding of Food Service channels

    * Bring a strong commercial mindset and understand how marketing supports sales effectiveness

    * Enjoy strategic ownership and accountability rather than hands‑on creative delivery

    * Are confident in influencing senior stakeholders and leading teams and external partners

    * Are based in the UK with a full right to work, and do not require visa sponsorship now or in the future

    Why This Role?

Opportunity to shape a marketing function with real commercial influence

Direct exposure to senior leadership and strategic decision‑making

A business where marketing is expected to drive growth, not just awareness

If you have led marketing within a B2B Food Service environment and are motivated by commercial impact rather than creative execution, I would welcome a confidential conversation.

The position is primarily office-based in London, with regular travel to a second UK site to stay closely connected to the wider business.

An inclusive and supportive working environment is offered, with reasonable adjustments available throughout the recruitment process.

Ready to take the next step? Send your CV to our People Consultant, Lisa Fox, quoting ref PR/(phone number removed), and have a chat about your future.

Applicants must be based in the UK with full working rights.

Due to high application volumes, if you don’t hear from us within a week, unfortunately, your application has not been successful this time
