How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    KS2 Primary Teacher

    Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire (HP10)
    September Start | MPS/UPS

    Supply Desk is working closely with a friendly and supportive primary school in Beaconsfield (HP10) that is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join them from September.

    This role is well suited to an enthusiastic teacher who enjoys supporting pupils through the later stages of primary education, helping them build confidence, resilience, and strong academic skills.

    The Role

    As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that meet the needs of pupils across the curriculum, while creating a positive and motivating learning environment.

    Key responsibilities include:

    Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
    Creating an inclusive, well-managed, and stimulating classroom environment
    Assessing pupil progress and adapting lessons to support all learners
    Supporting the development of literacy, numeracy, and foundation subjects
    Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and KS2 colleagues
    Promoting positive behaviour and high expectations for learning
    Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
    You may be teaching Year 3, 4, 5, or 6, depending on experience and school requirements.

    Requirements

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
    Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (ECTs welcome with relevant placements)
    Secure understanding of the KS2 curriculum and age-related expectations
    Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
    A positive, patient, and enthusiastic teaching approach
    Availability to start in September
    Ability to commute to Hazlemere, HP15
