Supply Desk is working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Hazlemere, who are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their department on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Maths specialist who is passionate about helping students understand, enjoy, and succeed in Mathematics — whether that’s mastering core skills or tackling complex problem-solving.
The Role
This role goes beyond delivering lessons — it’s about building confidence, promoting logical thinking, and helping students see the relevance of Maths in the real world.
In this role, you will:
Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Plan and teach lessons that develop numeracy, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
Differentiate effectively to support learners of all abilities
Track progress and use assessment to inform planning and intervention
Maintain a positive, focused learning environment with strong classroom management
Work collaboratively within a supportive Maths department
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a Maths Teacher who can motivate, challenge, and support students to achieve their full potential.
You will:
Hold QTS, PGCE, ECT status, or equivalent
(unqualified teachers with strong relevant experience may be considered)
Have recent experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting
Demonstrate secure subject knowledge and effective behaviour management
Be organised, enthusiastic, and committed to student progress
Be available for a full-time position
