Gold Education Recruitment is proud to be working with a well-regarded secondary school in the Chelmsford area, currently seeking a passionate and inspiring English Teacher to join their successful department on a part-time basis (4 days per week).
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator to work with motivated students in a welcoming and forward-thinking environment. You will collaborate with experienced colleagues, contribute to a thriving department, and support students in developing a love of language and literature.
Your Role:
* Deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 if applicable)
* Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Support students in developing reading, writing, and analytical skills
* Assess, track, and monitor progress, providing clear and meaningful feedback
* Create a positive, inclusive, and high-achieving classroom environment
* Contribute to departmental planning and wider school life
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
* A genuine passion for English and student success
* Strong classroom management skills and adaptability
* A professional, reliable, and enthusiastic approach
