How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Site Manager – Void Contracts (Guildford / Camberley Area)

    We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee void property contracts within the Guildford and Camberley area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong experience in managing void works programmes and delivering high-quality results within social housing environments.

    The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of NHF Schedule of Rates (SoR’s) and a proven track record in managing and delivering void works from start to completion. We will also consider experienced Void Supervisors who are ready to step up into a Site Manager role.

    Key Responsibilities:

    * Manage and deliver void property refurbishment programmes

    * Oversee subcontractors and ensure works are completed to specification and deadlines

    * Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures

    * Monitor progress, quality, and cost control across all works

    * Liaise with clients, tenants, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery

    * Maintain accurate site records and reporting

    Requirements:

    * Previous experience in void works and social housing maintenance

    * Strong understanding of NHF SoR’s

    * SMSTS (preferred)

    * Strong leadership and organisational skills

    * Ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines

    Package:

    * Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 (negotiable for the right candidate)
