HGV I Driver

A well-established and growing haulage company based in Gt Bromley is looking for experienced Hgv 1 Driver to join their professional team on Days or Night work, focusing on the safe and efficient transportation of goods to various locations. The ideal candidate needs strong communication skills, a valid commercial driving license, and a commitment to safety.
Key responsibilities:
* Operating lorries to deliver goods on time
* Conducting pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good condition
* Communicating effectively with dispatchers and warehouse staff
* Loading and unloading cargo securely
* Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
* Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
* Providing excellent customer service to clients
Required skills:
* Strong communication skills
* Proficiency in driving various types of vehicles (flatbed lorries, vans)
* Experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driving license
* Basic mechanical knowledge to identify vehicle issues and perform minor repairs
* Previous experience as a delivery driver or in warehouse operations is advantageous
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work details:
50 hours
Job type: Full-time
Pay: £37,698.85 per year Days
Pay: £43,698.85 per year Nights

Requirements
* Valid Hgv 1 Driver licence
* Current Driver CPC and Digi Card
* Minimum 12 months’ Hgv 1 Driver driving experience
* No DD, DR or IN endorsements
