How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Supply Chain Planner

    Monday to Friday (12pm finish Fridays)

    £42,500, OTE of £47,500 per annum

    Washford Industrial Estate

    B98 Redditch

    Our client is looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join the team where every day will be different (challenging but rewarding!). The ideal candidate will be someone who can bring enthusiasm to the role as this will be joining a team and business that shares a common goal and prides itself on its positive company culture

    Specific Supply Chian Planner Responsibilities Include:

    * Assists in achieving sites KPI’s, by practicing established planning procedures and techniques.

    * Scheduling and hosting operation daily reviews with managers.

    * Develop and maintain plans based on production outputs, customer demand and production schedules

    * Ensure timely availability of materials, components, and sub-assemblies to support manufacturing

    * Monitor inventory levels, identify shortages or excesses and take corrective actions

    * Collaborate with procurement, production, quality, and logistics teams to resolve supply issues

    * Maintain accurate planning parameters (lead times, safety stock, MOQ) in ERP systems

    * Support new product introductions and engineering changes by aligning material availability

    * Generate and analyse reports on material usage, forecast accuracy and supplier performance

    * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy and supply chain agility

    * Direct the monthly sales targets, closely working with production, engineering and quality.

    * Monitor execution of production plans and factory scheduling via work to list adherence and WIP not moved.

    * Arrange site transport as and when required for every

    * Responsible for daily communication with a range of suppliers.

    * Ensuring Redditch Supply Chain Team meets the requirements of both internal and external stakeholders.
