SEND Learning Support Assistant

These settings focus on providing tailored support to ensure every child can thrive both academically and personally.

The schools are looking to appoint a Primary SEND LSA on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Primary SEND LSA will be supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 with a range of additional needs, providing one-to-one and small group support, and helping to deliver engaging and accessible learning activities.

The successful Primary SEND LSA will have:

• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Experience working within Primary schools or SEND provisions
• Experience supporting children with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD or SEMH
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach
• A ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to support across the classroom
