How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Senior Vehicle Technician – Prep Centre Lead
    📍 Near Ewhurst/Abinger
    💰 Up to £50,000 + £10,000 Bonus
    🕒 Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm (Flexible)

    Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician ready to step into a senior role with real responsibility and influence? We’re working with a growing independent car sales business looking for a skilled Senior Vehicle Technician to take the lead in their brand-new prep centre.

    This is a fantastic opportunity to shape workshop standards, work with quality vehicles, and be part of a forward-thinking, independent operation that values expertise and efficiency.

    The Role

    As the Senior Technician, you’ll take ownership of the prep centre, ensuring vehicles are efficiently inspected, repaired, and ready for sale. You’ll be hands-on while also setting the pace and standard for workshop output.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Carry out a wide range of mechanical repairs and servicing

    * Perform advanced diagnostics and fault finding

    * Oversee vehicle preparation to ensure quality and efficiency

    * Maintain high workshop standards and productivity

    * Play a key role in achieving weekly throughput targets

    What We’re Looking For

    * Proven experience as a senior or highly skilled vehicle technician

    * Strong diagnostic and mechanical expertise

    * Background working with prestige vehicles (preferred)

    * Experience in independent garages or businesses

    * A proactive, organised approach with leadership capability
