How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Are you an experienced clinical leader with a passion for delivering exceptional care? We're looking for a dedicated Deputy Manager (Clinical) to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care.

In this key position, you will support the Home Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the service, providing strong clinical leadership and ensuring our care meets the highest standards of quality and compliance.

    What you'll do

Provide clinical leadership to nursing and care teams, ensuring person‑centred care that promotes dignity, choice, and wellbeing.

Support the Home Manager in delivering safe and effective care in line with CQC standards and company policies.

Take responsibility for clinical governance and service management in the Home Manager's absence.

Mentor, supervise, and support nurses and care staff to develop their skills and confidence.

Skills and attributes we're looking for

Previous experience as a Deputy Home Manager.

Strong ability to engage with residents and understand their individual needs.

Confident in identifying safeguarding concerns and referral pathways.

Excellent working knowledge of CQC standards.

Ability to build positive relationships with families, professionals, visitors, and staff.

Commitment to involving residents and families in developing and evaluating personalised care plans.

    Education and qualifications

NMC Registered Nurse (essential) with relevant clinical experience.

    What you'll gain

You'll be part of a supportive, enthusiastic, and caring team that puts people at the heart of everything we do. We believe that when our staff feel valued and supported, our residents receive the best possible care.

    You will benefit from:

A comprehensive induction and training programme.

Opportunities for career development and progression.

    Employee Assistance Programme.

Blue Light Card Scheme - Giving you access to discounts on holidays, days out, and over 15,000 national brands.

Join us and help shape a home where residents truly thrive.

If you're a compassionate clinical leader ready to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you.
