The Opportunity
Our client, a long-established and highly respected manufacturer, is looking for a Machine Operative to join their modern steel processing facility in Dudley.

Key Responsibilities
Operate machinery to process large steel plates in a high-spec production environment
Load steel using overhead cranes
Follow detailed work instructions and accurately complete production records
Use automated controls and basic computer systems
Carry out visual quality inspections on finished products
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health & safety procedures
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment (steel stockholding preferred)
Comfortable working rotating shifts and overtime when required
Ability to work independently and follow structured processes
Strong attention to detail with basic IT skills
Desirable (training provided if needed):
Forklift Counterbalance Licence
Overhead crane experience
