Job Tittle: Front Office Python Developer (FX/Rates Trading)
Contract: 12 Months
Location: London (3 days a week onsite)
Rate: Highly competitive daily rate
Status: inside IR35

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Front Office Python Developer to join a global investment bank, working directly with a high-performing FX & Rates trading desk.
This is a business-facing role where you will collaborate closely with traders to design and build pricing, risk, and trading systems within a cross-asset environment.

Required Skills
- Strong Python development experience (production-level coding)
- Proven front office / trading desk experience
- Experience in at least one asset class:
- FX (Foreign Exchange) or Rates / Interest Rate products or Equities or Commodities
- Experience building trading, pricing, or risk systems
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance pricing & risk systems in Python
- Work directly with front office traders to deliver solutions
- Build scalable and structured components within internal platforms
- Integrate systems across trading, risk, and finance
- Collaborate with global teams across regions

Nice to Have
- Experience with Quartz platform
- Exposure to cross-asset or hybrid trading desks
- Understanding of market risk or financial systems
