How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Position Overview 

    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Coordinator. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting both the Patient Care team by providing administrative and operational assistance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the efficient functioning of our clinic and ensure a seamless experience for our patients. 


    Key Responsibilities 

     

    Administrative Support: 

    • Assist in managing administrative tasks related to patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, cancellations and billing  
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation within the clinic's systems 
    • Handle incoming inquiries from patients, providing assistance and information as needed 


    Patient Booking and Communication 

    • Communicate with patients via phone and email, confirm details, and provide pre-appointment instructions 
    • Ensure timely and effective communication with patients regarding appointment changes, reminders, and follow-up care instructions 
    • Coordinate with the clinical teams to prioritise patient bookings and manage appointment schedules efficiently 


    Operational Support 

    • Assist in updating and maintaining operational procedures, protocols, and guidelines to optimise workflows and enhance patient care delivery 
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency 


    Project Assistance 

    • Undertake small-scale projects and initiatives as assigned to support strategic objectives and operational excellence 
    • Where support is needed, help with conducting research, gather data, and prepare reports to facilitate decision-making and project planning processes 


    Requirements 

    • Previous experience in a healthcare or clinic setting, particularly in patient administration or operations support roles 
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and empathetic demeanour 
    • Strong organisational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail 
    • Proficiency in using computer systems and software for data entry, scheduling, and document management 
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to take on new responsibilities as needed
