The Role
Assemble luminaires and accessories to achieve daily production requirements, and when required, support the warehouse team in receiving, storing, picking and packing goods for dispatch.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assemble products to specifications, following defined processes & training
* Monitor the production process and carry out testing and quality checks
* Ensure products are to the correct tolerances and meet customer and internal standards and specifications
* Report product, design issues, or working environmental issues to management or directors
* Carry out autonomous maintenance of work areas
* Pack goods, with protective materials ready for shipment
* Contribute to continuous improvement activities
* Work in a safe manner at all times, complying with Health, Safety and Environmental standards
About You
I'm looking for someone who is technically curious, detail-oriented, and eager to develop their skills.
* Manufacturing experience working in an assembly cell ideally working with electrical products
* Technical knowledge of products preferable
* Basic production planning and scheduling
* Quality control of finished goods and inspection of raw materials.
* Working to production targets and KPIs
