How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Outreach Worker 
    📍 Cambridgeshire 
    💰 Up to £24 per hour (Umbrella) | £21.20 PAYE (Inclusive) | £18.92 PAYE (Exclusive)

    Part time Hours 
    17:00-20:00 x3
    16:00-18:30 x3
    16.5 Hours per week

    2-3 Month contract

    Our client’s vision is to ensure people of all ages are safe, supported, and able to reach their full potential. Their services are designed to address complex health and social needs, enabling individuals to make positive, long-lasting changes for themselves and their families.

    The Role – Key Responsibilities
    As a Outreach Worker, your duties will include:

    Outreach wihtin the community, trying to speak the hardest to reach service users
    Engage with individuals in community settings and build trusting relationships
    Provide harm reduction advice and support, including overdose awareness (e.g. use of Naloxone)
    Carry out basic assessments of need and risk
    Support access to treatment, healthcare, housing, and other services
    Offer practical and emotional support in a non-judgemental way
    Requirements
    To be successful in this role, you should have:

    Previous experience within the Substance Misuse or Recovery field
    Strong understanding of drug and alcohol-related issues
    Experience in key working, care planning, and caseload management
    Ability to engage individuals with complex needs
    Excellent communication and motivational skills
    Enhanced DBS
