Responsibilities
* Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and functional needs for interior spaces
* Develop comprehensive design concepts, mood boards, and colour schemes that align with client specifications
* Source and select suitable furnishings, fabrics, lighting, and decorative accessories
* Prepare detailed layouts and visual presentations using specialised software such as Civil 3D or Primavera P6 where applicable
* Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely procurement and installation of design elements
* Manage project timelines effectively, ensuring all phases of the decorating process are completed within schedule
* Conduct site visits to oversee the installation process and ensure design integrity is maintained throughout
* Stay updated on current trends, materials, and innovative decorating techniques to offer fresh ideas to clients
Skills
* Proficiency in Primavera P6 for project scheduling and management
* Experience with Civil 3D for space planning and technical drawings is highly desirable
* Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple projects efficiently whilst meeting deadlines
* Strong organisational abilities to coordinate various aspects of interior decoration projects
* Creative flair combined with practical knowledge of interior design principles
* Exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
* Attention to detail in both aesthetic presentation and project execution
