We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join a well-established team delivering reactive maintenance within social housing properties across Borehamwood and surrounding areas. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability and consistent work.
About the Role:
This role involves carrying out reactive repairs in occupied social housing properties. You will attend a variety of jobs, diagnosing issues and completing repairs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
The ideal candidate will have a strong core trade in plumbing, carpentry, or plastering, alongside the ability to carry out a range of additional maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out reactive maintenance and day-to-day repairs within occupied social housing
Diagnose faults and complete first-time fixes wherever possible
Deliver high-quality work across your core trade and other disciplines
Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards
Provide a professional and courteous service to residentsRequirements:
Proven experience working in reactive maintenance, ideally within social housing
Strong core trade skills in plumbing, carpentry, or plastering
Ability to carry out multi-trade works to a good standard
Full UK driving licence
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Strong customer service and communication skillsWhat's on Offer:
