Due to continued growth and increasing demand, we are looking to recruit a skilled TIG Welder / Fabricator to join our experienced production team.
Role Overview
This role will be predominantly focused on TIG welding (approx. 90%), with some MIG welding (approx. 10%), alongside fabrication duties. You will be working on a variety of precision-engineered components and assemblies, often to tight tolerances and high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel
* Undertake MIG welding where required
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
* Perform fabrication, fitting, and assembly of components
* Work across bespoke, prototype, and batch production projects
* Ensure all work meets quality standards and tolerances
* Conduct self-inspection and maintain accurate documentation
* Work collaboratively with machinists and production teams
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
* Proven experience in TIG welding (essential)
* Experience with MIG welding
* Strong fabrication skills
* Ability to read and work from technical/engineering drawings
* Experience working with materials such as:
* Stainless steel
* Aluminium
* Mild/carbon steel
* High attention to detail and quality
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexible and proactive approach
Desirable
* Experience within a precision engineering or subcontract manufacturing environment
* Previous exposure to industries such as motorsport, medical, or scientific sectors
* Welding qualifications or coded welding experience
* Experience working alongside CNC machining or fabrication teams
