Location: Office-based (collaborative project environment)
The Role
We are seeking an experienced CAD Designer with a background in PLC / SCADA systems, electrical, and electronic design to join a growing engineering team. This is an office-based role, working closely with internal project teams to deliver high-quality design solutions across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities
• Create detailed and accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings using industry-standard software
• Produce electrical and control system drawings to support PLC / SCADA projects
• Collaborate closely with internal project, engineering, and delivery teams
• Ensure designs meet technical specifications, project requirements, and industry standards
• Participate in design reviews, contributing ideas and providing constructive feedback to enhance design quality
• Support project documentation and revision control throughout the project lifecycle
Skills & Experience
• Proven experience as a CAD Designer within electrical, electronic, or control systems environments
• Good understanding of PLC / SCADA systems and electrical schematics
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, EPLAN, SolidWorks or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple design tasks
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment

Salary description
