Role Overview
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our client based in Eastleigh.
You will be responsible for managing a team of up to 13 staff, overseeing operations and reporting to the warehouse manager.
Our client offers a temporary to permanent contract, where you will temp for 12 weeks then be offered a permanent contact performance dependant.
Key Responsibilities
Overseeing warehouse team
Unloading deliveries safely
Quality control of incoming materials
Goods out and dispatch
Moving stock safely around the warehouse, using forklift (licence dependant)
Overseeing warehouse systems and procedures
Candidate Requirements
Previous warehouse team leadership experience is a must
Forklift experience desirable but not essential
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Good communication skills
